THOUGHT: Nap of the Golden Glow

The perfect nap, to me, is the one you take when the sun is golden, and fills the early evening air with pixie dust. The sky is blue. The air is crisp and fresh. It's the kind of day when you find yourself stretching out all the way to the bottom of your socked feet, and suddenly the inexplicable urge to curl up in a happy-pre-spring-hibernation type of nap takes hold on you before you even know what has happened. Your favorite sweater hugs your arms as if you were wearing a blanket all over. Finding yourself bathed in the warmth of the sun pouring through your window. The golden glow leaves you with a sleepy feeling that wells up behind your eyes and slowly rests you into nigh-perfect relaxation.

THOUGHT: Neverland

Once upon a childhood, the blanket castles of our youth rise and fall all too soon. The drawn houses imagined of chalk on concrete are washed away with the rain of time leaving only the traces of puerility. Folds of fabric mounded in a heap, and mottles of color scattered through the streets.
